SkinPen® Microneedling

The Skin­Pen® is a form of microneedling, a non-inva­sive treat­ment that address­es signs of aging through col­la­gen induc­tion ther­a­py. Microneedling com­fort­ably cre­ates thou­sands of micro-injuries in the skin to trig­ger the body’s nat­ur­al wound heal­ing process. This results in the for­ma­tion of col­la­gen and elastin, the two vital pro­teins respon­si­ble for skin struc­ture. The Skin­Pen® works to reduce acne scars, hyper­pig­men­ta­tion, and oth­er imper­fec­tions, leav­ing you with beau­ti­ful, youth­ful look­ing skin. 

ABOUT

The Skin­Pen® is a FDA approved device that uses up to three non-inva­sive treat­ments to improve your skins appear­ance for six months. Each treat­ment takes 30 min­utes to an hour, with a 30 day time-peri­od between each pro­ce­dure. Patients will sense a mild vibra­tion dur­ing the pro­ce­dure and may expe­ri­ence a pink tone to the skin a few days after­wards. For post-treat­ment, apply a sooth­ing after­care prod­uct to pre­vent the skin from drying.
