This is a procedure that helps your GI physician detect problems of the bile and pancreatic ducts. An incision is made between the common bile duct and the pancreatic duct that allows the drainage of bile. A catheter and a wire are then used to remove gallstones, blockages or stent placement to help the drain the bile.
