EMG/NCV Testing

Elec­tromyo­g­ra­phy (EMG) and nerve con­duc­tion veloc­i­ty (NCV) are tests that mea­sure the elec­tri­cal activ­i­ty of your mus­cles and nerves. These elec­tro­di­ag­nos­tic tests are used to deter­mine if you’re suf­fer­ing from nerve dam­age and what the cause may be. Your neu­rol­o­gist will ana­lyze the results of both tests to deter­mine the prop­er diagnosis.
