Bladder BOTOX® is an FDA-approved therapy in the treatment of overactive bladder when medications do not work. The procedure is most commonly performed in the office without requiring sedation.
A small camera is gently placed inside your bladder, BOTOX® is then injected into the bladder to help decrease frequency, urgency and incontinence. Improvement is generally seen within 2 weeks of injection. BOTOX® does require repeat injections as the results typically last for 6 – 9 months.
