ASD Closure


An atri­al sep­tal defect (ASD) is a hole between the two upper cham­bers of the heart. The ASD clo­sure min­i­mal­ly inva­sive pro­ce­dure that repairs the ASD with a small patch of peri­car­dial tis­sue from your heart. Your sur­geon will use endo­scop­ic instru­ments to patch the defect between the left and right atrium.
