"I could hear him dismissing my feelings before he even came into the room. He says, "It's just a cough," in a bratty tone to a nurse, which is extremely disrespectful. He could not remember anything I was saying also. I told him maybe 7 times I was wheezing, then kept saying but no wheezing after every other question. He didn't even look in my throat after saying it was burning and hurting and dismissed me as fine. He put me back on a medicine I had already tried, and guess what... I still have a cough after taking all the prescribed medicine by him. But that's not a shocker. I came to him for help, and he wouldn't listen or even take the chance to fully examine me. He didn't seem concerned at all, even though I could barely breathe, eat, or sleep because my asthma had flared up due to this cold. He was more worried about my Flovent, which I've been on for my whole life and have had zero issues with it, and didn't need to be discussed during this appointment (irrelevant topic). It's super frustrating as a young adult trying to do the right thing and get help because asthma is a serious thing, and a DOCTOR tells you essentially you are being dramatic. I've been a patient here for my whole life, and usually, when it comes to lung stuff, doctors become very concerned very fast because of my history of asthma, but this was my worst nightmare. I left the office bawling my eyes out, and I will not be returning."
