I am a board cer­ti­fied oncologist/​hema­tol­o­gist who has been prac­tic­ing for more than 20 years. I believe in dis­cussing dif­fer­ent options of treat­ment with patients and help them make an informed deci­sion about their care. I am respect­ful of the choic­es patients make. Engag­ing fam­i­ly mem­bers in patient care is also very impor­tant to me as can­cer affects the whole fam­i­ly. I usu­al­ly will explore oth­er option includ­ing clin­i­cal tri­als for the patient. Opti­miz­ing patient qual­i­ty of life with improv­ing their over­all out­come is vital­ly impor­tant to me.
