I believe that each patient is very unique and has a dif­fer­ent weight loss jour­ney and a spe­cial sto­ry to tell. What works for one per­son may be com­plete­ly dif­fer­ent for anoth­er per­son. My goal is to pro­vide a holis­tic, indi­vid­u­al­ized weight man­age­ment plan for each patient. I enjoy cre­at­ing rela­tion­ships with peo­ple as well as being able to sup­port them and watch them improve over time.

My spe­cial inter­ests include obe­si­ty and dia­betes man­age­ment. After per­son­al­ly being diag­nosed with ges­ta­tion­al dia­betes (dia­betes of preg­nan­cy), I expe­ri­enced first-hand how dif­fi­cult the con­di­tion is to man­age. This allowed me to bet­ter relate to my patients with dia­betes and the chal­lenges they face.

Personal Interests

Out­side of med­i­cine, my num­ber one per­son­al inter­est is spend­ing time with fam­i­ly. I grew up in a tight knit Ital­ian fam­i­ly, and these indi­vid­u­als have still remained my best friends. I also enjoy knit­ting, cro­chet­ing, baking/​cooking, and exercise!
