My inter­ests are diverse with­in the field of Inter­nal Med­i­cine, par­tic­u­lar­ly in pre­ven­tive med­i­cine. Good health begins with diet, exer­cise and elim­i­nat­ing risk fac­tors that could lead to hos­pi­tal­iza­tions. Addi­tion­al­ly, I take a spe­cial inter­est in Sick­le Cell Dis­ease and advanced car­diac disease.

My per­son­al inter­ests include trav­el, read­ing his­tor­i­cal fiction/​thrillers, cook­ing & bak­ing, spend­ing time with my fam­i­ly and explor­ing Chicago.
