I have been working in the healthcare field for the last 25 years. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings in counseling, have 20 years experience working as a registered nurse in areas of critical care and home care including hospice, and have experience working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the outpatient setting. My goal is to provide optimal and respectful care through providing both counseling and medication management to my clients. My belief is that medication, as part of the treatment plan, is “a cane, not a wheelchair.” Medication can be an integral part of treatment but, therapy and counseling, and skill building is the foundation of making significant life changes. Life is a complicated journey in which we can be both a witness and partner to allow people to reach their full potential. I look forward to working with you!
