I believe a good doctor is a well rounded doctor. I appreciate the interplay of all organ systems, and keep the patient’s whole body in mind while simultaneously focusing on specific problems in individual organ systems. Additionally, I believe in the mind-body connection, and do everything I can to help patient’s in a larger emotional and social context. Finally, I believe that medicine is a team sport that requires input from nurses, physical/occupation therapists, nutritionists, care techs, consultants, and most importantly — the patients themselves.
