I am a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of experience in outpatient and hospital pediatrics. When you make an appointment for your child with me, know that you are in safe and kind hands, the hands of a mother who also knows medicine well. I am very passionate about pediatric patient care but strongly believe this cannot be accomplished without a trusting relationship with the parent/guardian, therefore I work hard towards building relationships based on mutual trust and respect with the families I take care of. I like to include parents in every step of the decision-making process and always ask for their input in various scenarios. I love to listen to my patients, they are the best part of my job, not a single day goes by when they do not make me laugh or smile, I like to address them by their names/nicknames (I make notes of their preferred names in my notes) and have memorized thousands of names over the years. I like to discuss growth, speech and development at each well-check for the little ones and like to include discussions about screen time, social media and peer influence for the teens.
