Glen Ellyn Atrium Dedicated in Memory of Darrell Stremler

DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) ded­i­cat­ed the atri­um in its new state of the art facil­i­ty in Glen Ellyn on August 6, 2008. The atri­um is ded­i­cat­ed to late DMG CEO, Dar­rell Strem­ler. A com­mem­o­ra­tive mon­u­ment and wall dis­plays out­lin­ing Darrell’s pro­fes­sion­al accom­plish­ments and key con­tri­bu­tions to DuPage Med­ical Group were unveiled on the main floor of the facil­i­ty dur­ing the ded­i­ca­tion event.

Ed Carne, CEO, DMG & Dr. Mark Daniels, Pres­i­dent, DMG spoke about Darrell’s inspi­ra­tion, guid­ance and influ­ence through­out the 6 years he was CEO of DMG.

In atten­dance at the event were Darrell’s wife, Judy Strem­ler, chil­dren, David, Anneke, Janette, Juliana and Jonathan, father, Fer­rel Strem­ler, sis­ter, Anne Brune and Darrell’s in-laws, the Kuiper fam­i­ly. More than 200 DMG physi­cians, lead­er­ship and staff as well as local dig­ni­taries were present to hon­or Darrell’s last­ing lega­cy on the med­ical group.
