DuPage Medical Group Welcomes Two Internal Medicine Physicians

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group, the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian group in the Chica­go area, wel­comes two physi­cians to its inter­nal med­i­cine team. 

Dr. David Ellens is board cer­ti­fied in inter­nal med­i­cine and earned his med­ical degree from South­ern Illi­nois Uni­ver­si­ty. He went on to com­plete his res­i­den­cy in inter­nal med­i­cine at Mer­cy Hos­pi­tal & Med­ical Cen­ter. His med­ical inter­ests include pre­ven­tive med­i­cine, as well as assist­ing patients in con­trol­ling the onset of type 2 dia­betes by pro­mot­ing weight loss, good nutri­tion and reg­u­lar exercise.

Dr. Diana Bur­da is board cer­ti­fied in inter­nal med­i­cine. She earned her med­ical degree from Chica­go Med­ical School and com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cy in inter­nal med­i­cine at Rush Pres­by­ter­ian St. Luke’s Hos­pi­tal. Dr. Bur­da is locat­ed at 15929 S. Bell Road in Homer Glen, and is affil­i­at­ed with Advo­cate South Sub­ur­ban Hos­pi­tal, Palos Com­mu­ni­ty Hos­pi­tal and Sil­ver Cross Hos­pi­tal.
