DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group, the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian group in the Chica­go area, wel­comes Fam­i­ly Med­ical Asso­ciates, Advanced Aller­gy & Asth­ma Care and Wom­en’s Well­ness World to its grow­ing provider fam­i­ly. Dr. Bren­da Berge­son is board cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. She earned her med­ical degree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Illi­nois Col­lege of Med­i­cine, and com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cy at Mac­Neal Hos­pi­tal. Her med­ical inter­ests include pre­ven­tive care, hyper­ten­sion, dia­betes, hyper­lipi­demia, wom­en’s health and acute care. Dr. Mark Gillis is board cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly med­i­cine. He earned his med­ical degree from the Stritch School of Med­i­cine at Loy­ola Uni­ver­si­ty Chica­go, and com­plet­ed his res­i­den­cy at Mid­dle­sex Hos­pi­tal. His med­ical inter­ests include hyper­ten­sion, dia­betes, coro­nary artery dis­ease, obe­si­ty and smok­ing ces­sa­tion. She earned her med­ical degree from Pritzk­er School of Med­i­cine at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Chica­go, and com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cy and fel­low­ship at Uni­ver­si­ty of Texas South­west­ern.
