DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Medical Group (DMG), the largest independent multi-specialty physician group in Illinois, is pleased to announce the appointment of noted researcher and public health expert Angela Beck, Ph.D. to Vice President for Social Impact. In this role, Beck will lead and develop initiatives that pursue health access and equity through DMG’s considerable clinical operations, fundraising programs, and community partnerships. She will also strengthen research with the organization to further DMG’s goal to deliver world class outcomes and innovative models of care.
She joins DMG from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, following a more than 15-year career at their School of Public Health, including most recently serving as Associate Dean in the Office of Student Engagement and Practice. Beck’s vast experience includes more than 40 published works on workforces in both public and behavioral health, as well as models of care. Having led public health practice initiatives for the University of Michigan, she has substantial experience in community engagement and developing partnerships to support interventions that impact population health policies and practices.
