DuPage Medical Group Welcomes Family Health & Fitness and Dr. Pragathi Challa

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group, the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian group in the Chica­go area, wel­comes Fam­i­ly Health & Fit­ness and Dr. Pra­gathi Chal­la to its grow­ing provider fam­i­ly. Two physi­cians join the DMG team from these respec­tive practices. 

Dr. Matthew Bran­don is board cer­ti­fied in fam­i­ly and sports med­i­cine, and earned his med­ical degree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Illi­nois. He com­plet­ed his fam­i­ly med­i­cine res­i­den­cy at Mac­Neal Hos­pi­tal and his sports med­i­cine fel­low­ship at Advo­cate Luther­an Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal. His med­ical inter­ests include adult and child pre­ven­tive care, dia­betes, hyper­ten­sion, asth­ma, aller­gies, sport med­i­cine, con­cus­sion man­age­ment and overuse injuries. Dr. Bran­don is affil­i­at­ed with Advo­cate Sher­man Hos­pi­tal, North­west­ern Med­i­cine Cen­tral DuPage Hos­pi­tal and North­west­ern Med­i­cine Del­nor Hos­pi­tal. Dr. Pra­gathi Chal­la is board cer­ti­fied in inter­nal med­i­cine, and earned her med­ical degree from Sri Venkateswara Med­ical Col­lege in Tiru­pati, Andhra Pradesh, India. She com­plet­ed her res­i­den­cies at Advo­cate Christ Hos­pi­tal & Med­ical Cen­ter and Oak For­est Hos­pi­tal of Cook Coun­ty. Her med­ical inter­ests include pre­ven­tion of dis­ease, com­mu­ni­ca­tion with patients and treat­ing dis­eases per lat­est med­ical knowl­edge and guide­lines.
