DuPage Medical Group Opens New Lockport Medical Office Building

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian group in Illi­nois, has opened a new med­ical office build­ing at 1206 E. 9th Street in Lockport.

The 54,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facil­i­ty will offer a wide range of health­care ser­vices to res­i­dents of Lock­port and the sur­round­ing south sub­urbs. As part of phase one of its open­ing, the facil­i­ty is offer­ing Express Care, phys­i­cal and occu­pa­tion­al ther­a­py, orthopaedics, radi­ol­o­gy, spine surgery and the Sleep Center.

“The open­ing of our Lock­port med­ical office build­ing rein­forces our com­mit­ment to improv­ing the health of our south sub­ur­ban com­mu­ni­ties by pro­vid­ing high qual­i­ty and acces­si­ble care,” said Don­na Coop­er, DMG Chief Oper­at­ing Offi­cer. ​“We are excit­ed to bring a wide range of health­care ser­vices to Lockport.”

To cel­e­brate the open­ing of the build­ing, DMG’s exec­u­tive lead­er­ship team, physi­cians and employ­ees, as well as the Lock­port Cham­ber of Com­merce, Lock­port May­or Steven Stre­it and com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers, held a rib­bon-cut­ting cer­e­mo­ny on August 19.

Phase two of the facil­i­ty’s open­ing, which is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by the end of 2019, will offer pri­ma­ry care, spe­cial­ty and lab­o­ra­to­ry ser­vices as well as inter­ven­tion­al radi­ol­o­gy, vas­cu­lar, gas­troen­terol­o­gy and pain procedures.
