DuPage Medical Group Named One of Best Employers in Illinois by Forbes

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG), the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian group in Illi­nois, has earned a spot on Forbes’ 2020 ​“America’s Best Employ­ers by State” list. The sec­ond annu­al list fea­tures orga­ni­za­tions across 50 states (and the Dis­trict of Colum­bia) that are liked best by employees.

To cre­ate the list, Forbes part­nered with Sta­tista — a mar­ket research com­pa­ny — to sur­vey 80,000 Amer­i­cans who work for busi­ness­es with at least 500 employ­ees. Accord­ing to Forbes, the sur­veys were con­duct­ed on a rolling basis between Octo­ber 2019 and May 2020. Respons­es about the same employ­ers were com­pared through­out the process to account for vari­a­tions in results col­lect­ed before and after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sur­vey respon­dents rat­ed their employ­er on the fol­low­ing cri­te­ria: work envi­ron­ment safe­ty, com­pen­sa­tion com­pet­i­tive­ness, oppor­tu­ni­ties for growth and telecom­mut­ing flex­i­bil­i­ty. Respon­dents also indi­cat­ed how like­ly they would be to rec­om­mend their employ­er to others.
