DuPage Medical Group Charitable Fund Raises Record $395,000+ at Annual Care Affair Event

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — The DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) Char­i­ta­ble Fund, a char­i­ta­ble orga­ni­za­tion cre­at­ed by DMG, raised a record $395,000+ at its annu­al Care Affair event on Feb­ru­ary 1 at Har­ry Caray’s in Lombard.

The DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund added a casu­al, Super Bowl-themed twist to this year’s event. More than 240 guests donned their favorite game-day attire and enjoyed game-day eats, cock­tails, live music from The Sem­ple Band, a live auc­tion, raf­fles, tail­gate games and more.

Funds raised through spon­sor­ships, dona­tions and the live auc­tion will sup­port non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tions in the com­mu­ni­ties DMG serves that work to pro­vide access to food, afford­able hous­ing and healthcare/​wellness ser­vices for those in need.

“We’re incred­i­bly grate­ful for the sup­port and gen­eros­i­ty of all donors who helped us raise this record-break­ing amount,” said DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund Advi­so­ry Board Chair Dr. Amy Sto­ef­fler. ​“The funds raised will allow the DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund to con­tin­ue to direct­ly impact the lives of those in need, right here in the com­mu­ni­ties we serve.”

The DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund sup­ports more than 50 Chicagoland non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tions through grants, vol­un­teer ser­vice from DMG physi­cians, care providers and staff as well as in-kind dona­tions such as food, toys, cloth­ing and more.
