DuPage Medical Group Charitable Fund Launches Website

We are excit­ed to announce our DuPage Med­ical Group Char­i­ta­ble Fund web­site — www​.dmgchar​i​ta​ble​fund​.org

DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) Char­i­ta­ble Fund is a com­mu­ni­ty part­ner with and affil­i­ate fund of The DuPage Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion (www​.dcfdn​.org). The Fund was start­ed in 2010 to pro­vide DMG physi­cians and staff an orga­nized way to part­ner with the com­mu­ni­ty through char­i­ta­ble giv­ing and volunteerism. 

In June 2010, the DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund host­ed its first char­i­ty event, the 2010 DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund Golf Out­ing at Glen Oak Coun­try Club in Glen Ellyn, Illi­nois. Over 110 golfers and many oth­ers includ­ing physi­cians, staff, and spon­sors par­tic­i­pat­ed in this event that raised over $84,000 for our char­i­ty. View pho­tos of this event here.

In Sep­tem­ber 2010, the Fund made a com­mit­ment to fund People’s Resource Center’s (PRC’s) West­mont Food Pantry. The DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund will cov­er all costs of this pantry includ­ing food and oper­a­tional expens­es every Sat­ur­day start­ing Octo­ber 2, 2010. Addi­tion­al­ly, DMG Char­i­ta­ble Fund will staff the food pantry with DMG vol­un­teers every Sat­ur­day from 8 am to Noon. Click here to view pho­tos.
