DuPage Medical Group Announces Multi-Year Partnership with Fox Valley Marathon

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. — DuPage Med­ical Group (DMG) and the Fox Val­ley Marathon announced a mul­ti-year part­ner­ship that focus­es on both orga­ni­za­tions’ shared inter­est in com­mu­ni­ty health and well­ness. As part of the part­ner­ship, DMG will serve as title spon­sor and offi­cial med­ical provider of the Fox Val­ley Marathon, Half Marathon and Fall Final 20™.

As offi­cial med­ical provider, DMG physi­cians, nurs­es and phys­i­cal ther­a­pists will staff the main med­ical tent and med­ical aid sta­tions along the race cours­es to eval­u­ate and admin­is­ter care to injured runners.

With more than 120 total sub­ur­ban Chica­go loca­tions, DMG has a pres­ence across the Fox Val­ley area with clin­ic loca­tions in Auro­ra, Batavia, Gene­va and St. Charles. DMG has plans to con­tin­ue its growth in the Fox Val­ley com­mu­ni­ty by adding new locations.

The 10th Annu­al Fox Val­ley Marathon Races will take place on Sun­day, Sep­tem­ber 22, 2019. The event, which includes a full marathon, half marathon and the Fall Final 20™, begins in down­town St. Charles and takes run­ners on a scenic route along the Fox Riv­er through Gene­va, Batavia, Auro­ra and North Auro­ra. Com­bin­ing a small race atmos­phere with big race ameni­ties, the Fox Val­ley Marathon Races draw run­ners look­ing to qual­i­fy for next year’s Boston Marathon, com­plete their final 20-mile train­ing run before the Chica­go Marathon in Octo­ber or run their first marathon.
