Duly Health and Care appoints new Chief Financial Officer

DOWN­ERS GROVE, IL — Duly Health and Care today announced Chase Ham­mon as its Chief Finan­cial Offi­cer. In this role, Ham­mon will serve an inte­gral role in bring­ing con­tin­ued scal­a­bil­i­ty to the busi­ness while dri­ving sig­nif­i­cant growth. He will join Duly’s exec­u­tive lead­er­ship team and report direct­ly to CEO Dan Greenleaf. 

Ham­mon brings more than 16 years of expe­ri­ence in com­pre­hen­sive health care finan­cial man­age­ment to his new role. He most recent­ly served as CFO of Spring­field Clin­ic in Spring­field, Illi­nois. The Spring­field Clin­ic is an inde­pen­dent, physi­cian-owned prac­tice serv­ing more than 500,000 patients with 700 providers, 3,000 employ­ees, and 100 locations.

Pri­or to serv­ing as Spring­field Clinic’s CFO, Ham­mon was a CFO of Bön Sec­ours Mer­cy Health where he helped lead long-term cap­i­tal plan­ning, account­ing, provider com­pen­sa­tion, rev­enue cycle opti­miza­tion, busi­ness devel­op­ment, merg­ers and acqui­si­tions, and strate­gic plan­ning for sev­en hos­pi­tals, 400 providers, and more than 100 loca­tions in Rich­mond, Virginia.

Addi­tion­al pre­vi­ous roles include as Health Sys­tem Busi­ness Oper­a­tions Exec­u­tive at UT South­west­ern Med­ical Cen­ter in Dal­las and Man­ag­er of Finance at Cam­pus Cru­sade for Christ in Plano, Texas.

From Sep­tem­ber 2000 to 2009, Chase served in the US Army as a Sup­ply Chain and Logis­tics non-com­mis­sioned offi­cer, over­see­ing sup­ply chain func­tions for mul­ti­ple US Army bat­tal­ion locations.

Chase earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at George Mason Uni­ver­si­ty – School of Man­age­ment in Fair­fax, Vir­ginia, and his MBA in Health/​Health Care Administration/​Management from The Uni­ver­si­ty of Texas at Dal­las. He is a cer­ti­fied med­ical prac­tice exec­u­tive (CMPE) through the Med­ical Group Man­age­ment Asso­ci­a­tion (MGMA).
