Duly Health and Care Announces New Leadership Appointments to Support Continued Growth

DOWN­ERS GROVE, Ill. – Duly Health and Care, the largest inde­pen­dent, mul­ti-spe­cial­ty physi­cian-direct­ed med­ical group in the nation is pleased to announce the appoint­ment of three lead­ers to its man­age­ment team. These appoint­ments sup­port the organization’s goal of con­tin­u­ing to rede­fine health­care deliv­ery. Ryan West has been named Pres­i­dent, Chicagoland Oper­a­tions, Dana Rye has joined the orga­ni­za­tion as Chief Val­ue Based Care Offi­cer and Charleen Philips has joined Duly as the Chief Account­ing Officer. 

We are thrilled to name Ryan West as Pres­i­dent of Chicagoland Oper­a­tions. Ryan has served as the inter­im leader since July and has demon­strat­ed his capa­bil­i­ties in lead­ing our largest clin­i­cal care deliv­ery oper­a­tion. In this role, Ryan has account­abil­i­ty for day-to-day oper­a­tions of our more than 120 clin­ic sites in sub­ur­ban Chica­go. Pri­or to his role as inter­im leader, Ryan served in a vari­ety of posi­tions since join­ing Duly as Vice Pres­i­dent of Oper­a­tions in June, 2021. Before Duly Ryan held sev­er­al pro­gres­sive lead­er­ship roles at Ami­ta Health, Ascen­sion Health and SSM Health Care. Ryan earned his Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence degree from Elon Uni­ver­si­ty and his Mas­ters, Health Ser­vices Admin­is­tra­tion from Xavier Uni­ver­si­ty. Ryan is poised to steer our oper­a­tions with a renewed focus on effi­cien­cy and sup­port for our patients, providers and team members. 

To fur­ther advance our val­ue-based care pro­grams, we are pleased to wel­come Dana Rye to Duly as Chief Val­ue Based Care Offi­cer. Dana has account­abil­i­ty for Duly’s val­ue-based care strat­e­gy and pro­gram man­age­ment, includ­ing val­ue-based ana­lyt­ics, care man­age­ment and pop­u­la­tion health man­age­ment pro­grams across all of Duly’s med­ical groups. She most recent­ly held the role of SVP, Val­ue Based Care at U.S. Renal Care where she played a key lead­er­ship role in a new val­ue-based care busi­ness that demon­strat­ed lead­ing results. Pri­or to her work at U.S. Renal Care, she held pro­gres­sive lead­er­ship roles at OneOn­col­o­gy, McK­in­sey & Com­pa­ny and Cred­it Suisse Secu­ri­ties, LLC. Dana holds a Bach­e­lor of Arts Degree in Inter­na­tion­al Pol­i­tics and Eco­nom­ics from Mid­dle­bury Col­lege, and earned an MBA and Mas­ters in Pub­lic Pol­i­cy from Har­vard Busi­ness School/​Kennedy School of Government. 

To sup­port con­tin­ued capa­bil­i­ty growth on our finance team, Duly wel­comes Charleen Phillips in the role of Chief Account­ing Offi­cer. Char will be respon­si­ble for our account­ing and finan­cial con­trol frame­work. She most recent­ly held the role of SVP, Account­ing at Health­comp, a pri­vate equi­ty backed Third Par­ty Admin­is­tra­tion. Pri­or to Health­comp, she served as VP, Con­troller at Mil­wau­kee based Advi­cent. Char holds a bachelor’s degree with dual major in Accoun­tan­cy and Man­age­ment from DePaul University.
