As a med­ical provider I strive to estab­lish a foun­da­tion of sol­id report with those seek­ing med­ical advice, treat­ment, and care from me. I believe that dis­play­ing affec­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, show­ing respect, kind­ness, and empa­thy to all patients and their loved ones is essen­tial to mak­ing a pos­i­tive impact­ful impres­sion, and instill­ing con­fi­dence that they can rely on me as provider. I am com­mit­ted to prac­tic­ing evi­dence-based med­i­cine. Being able to edu­cate and inform patients, along with their loved ones, about the health/​medical con­di­tions they face, in addi­tion to pro­vid­ing guid­ance on treat­ment options avail­able in order to come to an amenable shared deci­sion-mak­ing process is always at the fore­front of my pro­fes­sion­al practice.
