Kevin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and his Master of Science in Counseling from Northern Illinois University. He has experience in providing counseling services to adolescents and adults. He has background in working with social skills deficits, behavioral issues, trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, as well as a variety of other presenting issues. These experiences have taken place in a variety of treatment settings which include residential treatment, private practice, and community agencies. Kevin understands that each person’s therapeutic journey is unique to that individual. He works to collaborate with those he works with to create a safe and therapeutic environment. Kevin utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered as well Solution Focused approaches to help individuals achieve their goals.

I have experience working in a variety of treatment settings providing therapy services for over 10 years adolescents and adults. I started in residential treatment working with 12 – 16 boys with significant trauma and behavioral issues. This was quite the learning experience and has helped me to work with diverse client populations throughout my career. I feel it has been my calling to provide support, education, and empathy to people whom seek therapy services.
